I'm Teemu Vehviläinen, the guy behind Grayling Guide.
I've been fishing for more than 40 years, spending much of that time exploring the rivers and lakes of Northern Finland, Sweden and Norway. I live in Palojoensuu, a really small village in Enontekiö, Finnish Lapland.
Fly fishing is my biggest passion, especially watching a grayling rise to a dry fly I tied the evening before. But I also enjoy lying on a frozen lake, peering through the ice and waiting for an arctic char to bite.
Before becoming a full-time fishing guide, I worked as a primary school teacher for 20 years.
I organised school camps, taught outdoor skills and introduced plenty of people to fishing along the way.
These days I've swapped the classroom for rivers, lakes and wilderness camps. I still enjoy teaching and I would like to help you, whether you're picking up a fly rod for the first time or trying to improve your casting skills.
And don't worry, there won't be an exam at the end of the trip! At least not a written one.
My second guide is a Finnish Lapphund called Bruce. Yes, his last name is Springsteen.
The Boss is a reindeer dog without any reindeer to look after, but he's pretty good at making friends with my clients.
Bruce often joins our fishing trips if you'd like a four-legged companion along for the adventure.
I'm a fairly laid-back guy, and that's how I like my fishing trips too.
Of course, we'll do our best to find some good fish. But there's no need to rush from one place to another or follow a strict timetable when we're surrounded by beautiful wilderness.
Sometimes the best moments happen when we're not fishing at all.
I also believe in looking after the places we visit. We leave no rubbish behind, handle fish carefully and only keep a few suitable fish when we're planning to eat them.
I'd like future generations to enjoy these waters just as much as we do.
I probably spend more time exploring rivers than updating my website or Instagram. So if things seem a little quiet online, there's a good chance I'm somewhere without phone coverage, looking for the next great fishing spot.
I can't promise you'll catch the fish of your lifetime. But I'll do my best to take you to some wonderful places, find a few fish and make sure we have a good time.
And who knows? Maybe that trophy grayling is waiting for us.
Tight lines!
Teemu
