Fishing Trip Booking – Legal Notice
Grayling Guide
By booking a fishing trip (”the Trip”) with Grayling Guide, the customer (“the Client”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risk
The Client acknowledges that fishing and boating activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, equipment-related injuries, adverse weather, wildlife encounters, motion sickness, and hazards associated with open water. By participating, the Client voluntarily assumes all such risks.
Safety Compliance
The Client agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the guide at all times. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of participation without refund.
Weather & Trip Modifications
Trips are subject to weather and water conditions. Grayling Guide reserves the right to cancel, shorten, delay, or alter the Trip at the guide’s discretion for safety reasons. If cancellation occurs before departure, the Client may receive a refund or may reschedule.
Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client releases Grayling Guide, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from liability for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the Trip, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Personal Property
Grayling Guide is not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, any personal property brought to the trip, including but not limited to electronics, cameras, fishing gear, eyewear or clothing.
Licensing Requirements
The Client is responsible for obtaining any required fishing licenses unless otherwise specified by Grayling Guide. Most package holidays already include the fishing licenses and Grayling Guide can help you to buy proper licenses if needed.
Health & Fitness
The Client affirms that they are physically capable of participating and will disclose any medical conditions that could affect their safety or the safety of others. Clients should consult a medical professional if uncertain about their ability to safely participate in boating or fishing activities.
Alcohol & Substance Policy
Excessive alcohol use and all illegal substances are strictly prohibited. The guide may refuse service or remove any Client deemed unsafe due to impairment, without refund.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
20% down payment is required to secure all bookings.
Rest of the payment is due to 21 days prior the Trip.
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the Trip may receive a refund of all payments made.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the Trip will result in forfeiture of the 20% down payment.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the Trip will result in forfeiture of all payments made.
Failure to appear for the Trip (“no-show”) results in full forfeiture of all payments made.
In some trips the rest of the payment can be paid after the trip.
