New

  Zealand

I've visited New Zealand for many years for fly fishing. If you have a group who would need a guide to travel with you and organize everything in New Zealand you can ask me to join you. I can reserve an accomodation for you and take you to different locations to fish.

In some rivers where we can catch about 30-40 rainbow or brown trouts in one day if the weather and the river level is good. But I have to warn you that fly fishing in New Zealand can be really challenging in some rivers and even skillful anglers are struggling from time to time. Still for me it's not just great fishing but the scenery in the rain forests is magnificent too.

In many rivers in New Zealand you can do sight fishing. At first you have to spot the fish and be careful not to spook it. And after careful approach you'll have a chance to cast. The first cast usually counts. In those crystal clear waters fly fishing can be really exciting but also sometimes really difficult.

I know some rivers very well especially in the Hawke's Bay area North Island. But I have visited and fished on both islands many times. So we have got options.
